Bigwin Island Golf Club is currently seeking a Fibre Project Coordination Assistant
Bigwin Island is looking for an individual to assist with the coordination of a new fibre optic network that is being installed by Bell Canada on the Island this summer. Our ideal candidate will be studying in geomatics, geography, engineering or a related field. Successful candidates will take part in an array of activities that will include:
• Coordinating with Bell Canada and the individual property owners to determine best location for fibre install.
• Work with Bell Canada and their Contractor to coordinate and establish utility locates.
• Monitor and record progress of the work.
• Create as built records and sketches of the installation.
Experience: Basic knowledge or training in surveying, interpreting site plan drawings and GPS data collection will be a an asset.
